Lulu is my 11-year-old Chihuahua and has been my constant companion for more than a decade. She is my baby, my best friend, and a source of comfort through every challenge life has brought my way. She lights up every room she enters and somehow always knows when I need her most.
This year has been especially difficult. In February, I lost my cat Chainsaw, and over the past month I unexpectedly lost my two beloved dogs, Bear and Scout. Each of them received extensive veterinary care, specialist consultations, testing, and treatment as I fought to help them. Despite every effort and significant financial expense, their conditions progressed rapidly, and I was heartbroken to lose them.
Now, Lulu is facing a serious health crisis of her own. A mass has been discovered in her bladder, and she has been exhibiting some frightening symptoms. Her veterinarian has referred her to an oncologist for advanced testing and evaluation, and surgery may be necessary depending on the results.
The emotional toll of losing three beloved pets in such a short period has been overwhelming. At the same time, the veterinary costs associated with their care have been substantial. Even so, I am committed to doing everything possible to give Lulu the best chance at recovery and more happy years by my side.
The funds raised will go directly toward Lulu’s diagnostic testing, oncology consultations, treatment plan, medications, and any procedures she may need. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help me access the care she deserves and provide hope during an incredibly difficult time.
